DIA 320... 19 de Mayo 2011

First week of classes completed! Que rapida! A day at the beach with most of our group present and a dip in the icy cold Mediterranean! Later we ventured through Parc Central (and saw lots of cool graffiti) on our way to the travel guides who help out with our excursions to help prepare an authentic Roman feast. I had my doubts but it was good! Lessons reinforced by Tarragona experiences: don't knock it till you try it. We learned that the Roman;s utilized each corner of their napkin for a different puropse. One to wipe their hands, one to blow their nose, one for when they puked from eating so much (gluttonous Romans!), and the last to pick up the crumbs off the table. They would then save the leftover food in that napkin and take it home to give to their favorite servant. After dinner, a walk back home to La Rambla Nova where the sun was just starting to set! Tomorrow: Reus!

Love the PEACE graffiti! Food looks good! Have you had any blood oranges over there yet? The fruit in Italy tasted to sweet and juicy. I was wondering if you had any in Spain.
