We arrived at Cabinas Algebra one misty afternoon and ate the most amazing burger I've had in awhile. The cabins are run by a German couple who were the best ever!!! So nice and helpful! Picked us up from the bus terminal our first day and gave us a ride to town another day!

The next morning Jeni didn't feel so good so we spent a good portion of the day hanging out in the room reading and playing Monopoly Deal but it rained most of the day anyway so no big loss!!
The next day we made it to the national park and saw lots of wildlife during our 3.5 km hike! A snake, capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, lizards, crabs, butterflies, etc... sadly no sloths. We hung out on the beach a few hours and despite the overcast weather it was really nice!! We packed up just in time for it to start sprinkling and later down pouring.

Never fear, our final day in Cahuita we made time for the sloth sanctuary (and one last down pour) before heading back to San Jose. I didn't pay for the tour but I got to see one all the same!
