| We made it! |
We arrived in Monteverde around lunch time on Friday. After settling in to Cabinas Vista al Golfo, we walked around town and got some lunch at Taco Taco. After lunch we headed back to the hostel for a little downtime to rest up for our NightWalk.

The bus for the Santmaria NightWalk Tour picked us up at 5:30 pm right in front of our hostel. After a 30 minute bus ride, we had arrived and our guide Alex welcomed us to the reserve as he doled out flashlights to the group.
The tour was about 2 hours long and totally worth it! Besides seeing some really great wildlife (sloths, tarantulas, kinkajou, coati, sleeping toucan, scorpion, and more!) it was also really cool to be able to walk around and experience a night in the forest without worrying you would get lost :)
