Fall is my favorite time of the year. Sure the beach and pool are fun. You get tan and drink fruity drinks. No school. Plenty of time for reading for FUN (the best kind of reading). All kinds of good stuff.
But FALL!!!! The leaves get all pretty and there's a nip in the crisp evening air. Everything comes in pumpkin flavor. Apple orchards are open for business. You can curl up with a cup of tea or warm bowl of soup and feel so darn cozy you wish it would never end. You get to wear boots and scarves and flannel. Thanksgiving and the Macy's Day parade are just around the corner and after that we're just a hop, skip and a jump to Christmas and the start of a brand new year!
And so I ask you... what is not to love?!
